Sometimes, the best way to handle a conflict is to walk away from it.
In any relationship, there will be ample opportunities to start an argument.
You may feel like criticizing the other person for something they did.
You may feel like complaining about the little things he/she does that annoy you.
But you don’t have to fight every fight.
Save your fights for the big things. For the important occasions. For the times when they matter.
Every little argument and criticism deteriorates the overall quality of your relationship. It creates negative feelings. And resentment. These little things are not worth ruining your relationship over.
You don’t have to criticize every little thing. You don’t have to complain about the insignificant matters.
