I also favor Vaishnava. Actually Vaishnava means, a typical way of life/thinking, suggested by the God Vishnu or to follow the God Vishnu.The real Vaisnav means a person must know the pain of others and try to help or grant relief to person who is suffering from pain/problems physical or mental,if it is possible.And if they help others they should not be proud of it.That is all.But I see few Vaisnav people act reverse of it .
In fact ,Vaisnav must not take Non vegetarian Dishes but they may take onion and garlic .Because I think there is nothing harm in it .I do the same and I am also Vaishnav or anybody may be.Vishnava is the name of power also which is called Vaishnavi Shakti/Power so it is not suggested to restrict the diets . Vaishnava must have strength/power to fight against evils.Otherwise what is the value of a person for a nation or world without having physical strength and unable to help others.
