People are very much perturbed/orthodox in doing worship, direction wise, to perform worship by sitting/facing in a particular directions East, West, North and South. Please note, the earth is rotating on its axis and further the earth is rotating round the Sun. Therefore the directions East and West are changing continuously with respect to space, however the directions North and South are fixed more or less.
Hence to do worship, facing the directions East or West may be incorrect, because these directions keep on changing always.The direction East in morning may be West in evening in fact with respect to the time and space, Geographically.Hence the scholar like Galib and the Saint Guru Nanak had also denied the importance of place/directions to worship.As wherever the Muslim had turned the legs of Guru Nanak ,the Muslim saw the Kaaba.Finally the Muslim had to give up after getting tired and surrender against the saint Guru Nanak.
